The success of wireless technology

Wireless technology is successful as a solution to the digital divide because it allows anyone with a computer to access the internet if they have a phone line connection as a wireless modem must be plugged in to the phone line so that more than one person can access the internet at once.

The problem that wireless technology overcomes is the ability for people to access the internet as many people did not have access to the internet as they did not have a phone line so they could not get information from the internet

The growth of wireless technology does have clear social, economic and educational benefits but the growth of wireless will not have positive effects on the culture of the area as they will have done everything they needed without a computer and the introduction of wireless technology could cause their culture to crumble. But the positive benefits for wireless technology are that it will allow business to grow with the ability to use wireless to send and receive information form other business, it will allow people to stay in touch with other people in different villages thanks to a wireless connection and it will allow children to learn using a computer and get information form the internet so they can get a better understanding of how computers work so that they can get better jobs when they leave school.
